ABOUT ME

I started writing at a very young age. My dad (who is also an author) was my greatest inspiration.

Writing was always a hobby, but I always said in my head, "One day I'll be a real author." In 2019, after failing a summer chemistry class in which I was miserable in, I decided that I was going to take my writing seriously. I realized my brain is more artistic than mathematical or scientific and I could only cry over a periodic table and a molar gram for so long.

The journey to publication has been a long one, and it's still ongoing, but I love where I've landed so far.

My first young adult fantasy novel, The Testimony of Bendigo Fletcher, was released in 2022 by me! Self-publishing was a beast and a blessing. I'm so thankful I took my shot at it. I may revisit that avenue some day.

Keeper of the Light and Descendant of Shadows are fantasy novels in a series titled, The Daughter of Destiny, published with Oliver-Heber Books.

When I'm not writing I'm raising my two sons, teaching physical education at a private school, working out, cooking, baking, reading, or leaning to play the violin.
